Attorney Luis Vasquez

Luis Vasquez is originally from Guatemala but arrived in Waco, Texas at a very young age. He grew up in Waco and, after completing high school and some classes at his local community college, moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, where he graduated with a degree in Government. He continued his education in Michigan, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Western Michigan University's Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and then returned to the University of Texas School of Law to obtain his LL.M.

Prior to starting his firm in Waco, Luis worked in Austin and San Antonio at one of the largest personal injury firms in Texas and at a high-volume immigration firm. During that time he obtained favorable results for hundreds of clients in both personal injury and immigration matters. Luis is excited to be back in his hometown with the valuable experience he acquired in both areas of law, and to continue honoring the oath he took to represent his clients zealously.

Luis wished to work in personal injury for the same reason he worked in immigration law: to help people in their time of need. He believes he can make a positive difference in the lives of his clients and help them navigate a time of crisis, and he is adamant about doing everything within his reach to make sure that happens.

Outside the Office

Outside of being an attorney, Luis enjoys exploring the world with his wife Esmeralda, who is also an immigration attorney. His favorite hobby is scuba diving. He became certified at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and has dived in many places around the world since.
